Clean Language Institute (CLI) Disclaimer:

Participation in this Clean Language Institute webinar and its resources, including this seven-session series on Supporting Yourself and Others in the Time of COVID 19: Clean Language approaches for difficult times, constitutes your agreement to this disclaimer.

We encourage you to review the following information carefully.

The information contained in this seven-part series: Supporting Yourself and Others in the Time of Covid-19 (Webinar), including ideas, suggestions, techniques, and other materials, is educational in nature and is provided only as general information. By attending this Webinar series, you understand you will be introduced to Clean Language— (inclusive of clean questions, Symbolic Modeling, Emergent Knowledge, Clean Space, and other clean processes)— is founded on the principles developed by David Grove, Penny Tompkins, James Lawley and other members of the Clean Language Community (collectively the “Presenters”) since the early 1980s.

Clean Language methodologies are a mind-body approach based on personal development and client facilitation that is designed to help clients embody their idiosyncratic experience of the world and work in metaphor as a way of expressing that experience.

Clean Language uses clean questions, emergent information, space, and modeling in real-time to help “clients” self-model becoming more psychologically flexible, internally resourceful, easeful, and effective in navigating their experiences, as well as developing an improved sense of overall well-being.

Although Clean Language appears to have promising mental, emotional, and physical benefits, Clean Language has yet to be fully researched by the Western academic, medical, and psychological communities and should, therefore, be considered experimental. The use of Clean Language is self-regulated and Clean Language is considered “alternative” or “complementary” to the healing arts that are licensed in the United States. Although the Presenters have experience in the healing arts, the Presenters are not psychologists, physicians, or other licensed health care providers.
